How to delete my account?

My first post was deleted. I can see this is not the place I want to be a part of.
How do I delete my account? I cant find that option in 'my account' or 'settings'.

Short answer is that you cannot delete an account.
You can request in Tech Support section that your account be banned, but generally they'll tell you to simply not use the account if you don't want to participate.

Even if banned, your account still technically exists.

If I remember correctly, there is an option on your user page to ban your own account.
Or you can just not log in.

But personally I would just delete your bookmark to the site and not come back. Cancelling your account doesn't achieve any more.
