How to delete selected conversations

I noticed that my Inbox for conversations is starting to fill up. I'd like to selectively delete conversations, mostly the older ones, to free up space. However, when I select several conversations using the check box next to them, I can't find any option to delete them.

Can someone advise me how to selectively delete conversations?
 
Select "Leave Conversation" it's the functional equivalent to deletion. It will then ask if you want to accept or ignore future messages from that conversation. Select one and click "Leave Conversation", that will remove them from your message count.
