I am really impressed with the way Madpoet used wood bolsters on wood handles. I think it was super classy, and I have asked bolster questions before, but that was for metal and other inert synthetics.
The main question is whether the bolster and handle need to be angled at their joint, or if straight 90 degrees is fine. I can imagine that a better fit would be achieved with an angle, but that may be out of my reach as far as equipment goes. I plan to use two pins on the bolsters and the regular number with the handle scales, as well as epoxy, of course.
