How to edc a small fixed blade?

I just stick em in my right front pocket. Its handy to have a lanyard sticking out of your pocket, so you just pull and out comes the knife. I usually take the sheath out of my pocket to put the knife back in. There isn't room for much else in the rf pocket, maybe a lighter.

Usually carry the snody, 3 inch blade.

I made this one for a JK knife

and modified this neck sheath from alan davis into a dangler, works well, fits in the back pocket without sinking to the bottom, so it's both concealed and easy to grab, surprisingly unobtrusive when you sit down, hardly notice it

I carry my small fixed blades horizontal on my belt at 1 O'clock for left-handed cross-draw.

I was just thinking about attaching a small lanyard on my Izule for that very reason.

Thanks guys, this is awesome!
The photos are really helping too, keep 'em coming.
I'm making mock-ups with duct tape to try out various positions :D
Once I settle on a position, (and a knife!) I'm thinking of buying a sheet of kydex and making my own sheath tailored to fit my requirements.

Those who carry IWB, do you cant the knife to make sitting etc easier? At what kind of angle?

I do horizontal on the back of my belt. Generally unobtrusive and comfortable. I am mostly carrying my own knives these days, but my favorite factory knives are the BK11 and BRKT Bravo Necker 2.

I took an old fabric sheath, and cut it open.
Once it was open, i took out the hard piece of plastic that keeps the knife from cutting the material up.
I got this out, and wrapped it with electrical tape so the knife wont cut through the bottom part of the plastic. (it was weak as far as staying together goes.)
Now, its smooth, tight (hold it in better), and slides into my pocket easily.
(BUCK large paklite skinner. A Gerber sheath was sacrificed :))
I JUST did this today, so sorry for the lack of a picture.

KSF leather has sme cool sheaths, I especially like the City Sheath, google them. They carry in your back pocket like a wallet, or in the case of the City Sheath take the place of your wallet.

i carry the cold steel roach belly which i love in a home made kydex sheath on my left hip and i don't even know its there.

i made a poor-man's kydex (plastic) sheath at the end of it i tied some para cord. Cut a small hole in the back side of my funny pack, and i tied it-attached it there. all you have to do is simply open the zip and draw your knife :)

Go to JK Knives in the Forum and check the LRK knife. You can have one in about 4 weeks with micarta handles and sheath for around $65.
Do not let the size fool you and you can just drop knife and sheath in your pocket

You can go with a simple pocket sheath.

Sharpshooter Sheaths makes some nice pocket sheaths that are slim enough to suit your needs. As far as a small fixed blade goes, they should be able to handle the size of an Izula.

I'm partial to Bark River when it comes to fixed blades so I would recommend something like the City Knife, the Essential, the Little Creek, the Mini North Star, and of course the Bravo Necker.

This is the way I'd go with a leather pocket sheath. Best way I've found to carry a small fixed blade.

does it have to be in your person? how about a bag where you keep your other "necessities" and "possibles?"

The new Bark River Pocket Bravo might my a good choice also. Just got my in. I'll try to get a pic for ya.

I mostly carry my smaller fixed blades in the same manner as my folders in my front right pocket. I have an AG Russel woodswalker that was supplied with a pretty nice leather pocket sheath that fits quite snug in a front pocket even though it was designed for a back pocket. Also I have a universal Sharpshooter pocket fixed blade sheath that I tote my Swamp Rat Swamp Warden in and it is by all means a quality piece especially given the price.
