How to find scales

I've been getting seduced by more exotic knifes made with materials like sugilite, spiny oyster, and serpentine but can't find a supplier of scales with these materials. Where are they hiding?

Most of the really exotic stuff is cut by the knife makers themselves, that's what I do. :D
