i have a bm mini grip and the centering is off, is this from me pushing down on it to hard when i flick the thumb stud (if that makes and sense)? and is there anyway i can fix it?

There's always a little little play side-to-side in my Axis lock knives (when closed), I think it's normal. As long as it's not contacting the scales when you open it, I don't think it's a problem. If it is contacting the scales, try tightening the pivot screw all the way, then loosening the frame screws a little. Recenter the blade using a paper shim, then tighten the frame screws until they're just holding, then loosen the pivot screw until it opens how you prefer. Worked for me!

Loosen the pivot screw
Loosen the body screws
Move the blade over to the opposite side (opposite of which side it favors)
Jam a folded piece of paper, card board... Anything that will make it stay there
Tighten the pivot all the way
Tighten all of the body screws evenly, switching sides in between
Pull the folded paper out
Adjust the pivot to your preferred tension
