I have the proto type sheath for the Perrin..
It was orginally going to be "custom holsters" by SKUNKWORKS..
It was designed for many positions INCLUDING IWB. carry..
its light, about the size of the knife..and has no rattles shakes or noises..it locks in and disengages as an urban street bowie should..
quickly and withput much effort...
Frank can still make them..
and Kydex is not the same as Concealex... SKUCONSOL@aol.comwww.skunworksusa.com 509-534-6113
I'll second that "kydex is not the same as Concealex". Most of us who use Concealex do so because we believe we can give our customers a much better product. The Perrin sheath is a production item with me also, and SFO generally has a couple on hand.
No argument or discussion..
just a comment..
really..didn't mean to imply or start anything...was off handedly responding to the post that combined the two terms..
Hey Mike..!!! yup..you guys can get stuff from Mike...Mike makes great holsters!!!
Normark..hey..I'm glad you make good products..never meant anything bad by not saying so...and I'd be honored to try one of your holsters..
email me and I'll give you an address...if you really want to send out a holster...
Gads..maybe I shouldn't post @ all..
All I was saying was I have the proto...and it was what people were actually asking for...ROFL..not what was produced...
which is typical..
I think one of the problems is that any of you custom guys can make great products, and people expect that... and mass-produced is OK..sometimes very good..and sometimes not OK......but people expect the production to be as cool or as good as yo8u guys create..
which isn't going to happen..
SOOOO if I've made amends for any unintentional slights..I'll go now..
See your tongue's in your cheek again . How you doin'? Busy here. You know I don't have to "weasel", heck, I left this alone this long, and I've been doing these since last year's NY Show. Guess we saw Bram's post at the same time, but you beat me to the draw. Will we be able to get together again at the Novi Show? Looking forward!
Bram,
Looks like you've been pretty busy lately too. No problem on post - it was just too good of an opening. See you at SHOT.
