How to get a really nice looking scandi bevel

Well I took the advice from you guys and tried to clean up the bevel again. Its a lot cleaner looking, but there is still a slight "hammered" look to it. I have to roll my hand a lot because the bevel is slightly convex'ed, but I'm still getting a sharp edge. Just to experiment, I tried to put a micro bevel on the grind but I only ended up making the knife duller so I just took it off.

If you're uncomfortable with the amount of convex, I highly recommend working the bevel from the shoulder out to the apex. Just concentrate the pressure from your support hand fingertips so the bevel closest to the apex is being ground first, and remove steel fading toward the apex. The less convex it is, the easier time you'll have blending it all together, and keeping it that way over time.

I like the added convex for edge strength and better feathersticking. In conjunction with lots of stropping I think the bevel is fairly clean now.
