How To Get Pic To Show Up In Post?

I keep seeing posts with pics displayed. Whenever I try to add a pic it shows up as an attachment/thumbnail. Then if you want to see the pic fullsize you have to click it. How do you get the pic full size to display with your post? Confused.

You can use an image host such as Imageshack.us or Photobucket for that. Or host the images yourself.
