Sell them if you can because money will be useful and chuck them otherwise. No one is going to appreciate the bunch of <anything> you rarely or never used that was stuffed in somewhere and maybe not any you did use regularly. It's just going to be trash and a burden to clear out. The less burden the better IMO

Problem solved

My family is not like Beaver Cleaver's family ... you tell them not to do something - even if it's a final wish ... it's the first thing they'll do. And the step-children will swoop in like those pictured in not2sharp 's response to take advantage of their mom while she mourns ... or parties!
