How To insert video into a thread/post?

I tried using the pic thingy & the link thingy.I see a lot of people adding you tube vids & I'm getting pretty jealous & frustrated:grumpy:.

Did I mention I am not computer savvy?

Any help in layman's terms would be immensely appreciated.

Step 1: Locate a youtube clip you want to post. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP_OykvCyoA

Step 2: Type the youtube UBB tags which is [youtube ] and [/youtube ]

Step 3: Between the brackets, insert the youtube code from the URL, which is found following /watch?v=. In the case of my example, it is VP_OykvCyoA

Step 4: Enjoy!

Here's what you're doing wrong: you're pasting in the entire youtube URL. You're supposed to paste in only the code for that specific video.

Between [ youtube ] and [ /youtube ] do not paste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDBIbJKjAZQ but only YDBIbJKjAZQ which is the portion after the = sign.
