And you can put an extra one in the flint "chamber" so you won't have to unscrew it and put another one in there and screw it back again ...Time saver...

Can't do that, the extra spring tension on the flint will make it impossible to spin the wheel.

Just picked up a Windii by Ronson for $2.50 at walmart. Not that same quality by any means as zippo ... but not too shabby.

Has anyone bought one the EuroLite Torch lighters from Ronson for $9.95? Any good?

Well exactly two weeks later the Tristar has arrived from the U.K.

Day one and I love it. Made well and fits perfect. I love the fact that the hinge piece now ativates the butane shut off valve.

I will keep you posted if anything bad happens, I hope not!

I have this problem, because I don't smoke. I carry the lighter just as a fire source, but it doesn't get used too often. Zippo makes a fuel tank that fits on a key ring, which I'm currently testing. So far I'm at one month and counting. I'd like to try the ranger band idea, if I can find the right dimensions.

After last night I can vouch that Hennessy VS cognac also works as lighter fluid. However, the real stuff lasts much longer.

Hennessy lighter.. That would smell nice!
