How to load a strop with flitz?

Hi All,
This may sound rather silly, but, still, how am I supposed to do that, to be more exact, should I wait till it gets dry or use as soon as I apply flitz to the leather strop?

 
Take the flitz and smear it into the strop really good. This should be fairly quick. Then strop right after. Good luck.
 
XRAY is right on the money here...you'll have to apply it a few times in order for the leather to accept it deep, but then it will work for a while. Flitz does work dry too, but when you initially apply it, stropping the knife with the flitz still wet sharpens the knife and conditions the strop at the same time.
