How to make a framelock?

Does anyone have advice or a tutorial?

The tactical folding knife (Ithink thats the name) by Bob Terzuola is a good book.
It sometimes is too technical for a beginner, just ignore these parts for now

You should be able to find a torrent to the book on the internet.

On custombladeworks.com, there os a great tutorial to making a liner lock, that may also help.

Isn't a framelock just a thicker liner lock? (without the external scales)

I think the differences of a frame lock are significant enough from a liner lock that while they are functionally similar, the execution in building is not.

Here's a pretty good series on Linerlocks. If you can build a linerlock, you can build a framelock...or so I'm told

There is a good WIP for a liner lock in this forum. Remove the scale on the left hand side where the leaf spring is, use some thicker titanium say .100 on that side and tou will have a frame lock. Good do'ins ! Frank
