I'll be making a dive knife soon and I have many questions since this will be my first time making a blade of this kind.
My first question is about serrated edge. How do you do it? The only way I can think of is by using a round file. Any tip on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

round file before HT and then finish with sandpaper around the file (its the simplest and most budget friendly way) it xcan take a long time and till you do a few your "teeth" will be uneven
there are other ways but imlnot sure what gear you have and how much you want to spend on things (like a dedicated CBN wheel with the pattern in it )

Look for WIPs by Ryan Weeks. That or the video he had made of his shop/him working. Can't remember which one but he had some great pictures of a simple way to do it.

Thanks. I found the video, I think. He starts the initial cuts with a triangle file at set intervals and then run a round file.
