Hey Guys, I have been sorting through my stock and I have a LOT of handle blocks. Between moving back and forth between college and home, I have some 300-500 blocks of perfectly usable handle material "Kingwood, cocobolo, stabilized walnut, maple, Ironwood, so on and so forth" That I have no reasonable way to sell. It would be far too time consuming to sell piece by piece on my site. I was considering either unselected "IE you buy a number of a spieces" Or even selling them by the pound "Pounds of ready milled handle blocks"

Anyone have any ideas?

Sell sight unseen by species?
Set a minimum of 5 pieces or somesuch?

Fill medium flat rate boxes. Come up with a price for each full box. Sell them by the box load.
Make it an offer they can't refuse.

Just packed up 4 boxes brimming with blocks of wood. 30-40 blocks per box, Ill be listing them tomorrow. These are pretty amazing boxes.

It was question. I didnt know if people would want to pick a specific number "Give me 5 of X, 2 of Y and 4 of Z" or if just buying a large box full of stuff would be ok.

Dealers, knifemakers, and service providers are allowed to ask marketing questions and introduce new products or special sales in Shop Talk ( part of what they get for their membership level). They are not allowed to take orders or talk much about prices. Al that is to be done in The Exchange.

Ben pretty much keeps to these rules. When he occasionally gets close to the line, I send him a PM and he removes the post. I do the same for all the others.
