Thanks for your help on this Matt, please contact Imgur if you would and ask them about this issue. Don't let them know too many specifics, just ask forums in general. I might end up just buying a domain and hosting my own thing, it's getting silly with the Photobucket crap first and now this.I've always taken that to be for businesses rather than personal galleries. They are an image-hosting website, it would make no sense to ban individuals who host images on their site when they make it so easy to do so.

I actually emailed Imgur to get clarification on this and Sara, one of their support specialists got back to me rather promptly with this:
You're welcome to use Imgur to host your images, as long as they do not break our Terms of Service (http://imgur.com/tos). Imgur's Terms of Service prohibits using Imgur for a content delivery network, hotlinking adult or illegal images, torrents, image hosting for commercial purposes and selling things, or sites which copy Imgur's own functionality. Imgur's intended use is not as a CDN, but rather as a platform to upload, share and browse entertaining images. Forum use is ok, as long as it's not for commercial use (selling items), adult content, or used to host website elements on the forum.
So Imgur users are good to go. I think the biggest concern is that if you are using their platform to host images either for your own website or for commercial endeavors, they are going to take issue with that.
Thank you for the great effort sir! I will try this.Mobile (Imgur app):
Go to the Imgur app, and click on the plus icon in the top right for uploading, same spot from the home page and from your profile page.
View attachment 1339355 View attachment 1339356
Once there, you can select any of the image(s) from your phone/tablet's pictures to upload.
View attachment 1339357
Once you have chosen your image(s), you have to change the public setting from 'public' to 'only me' before you upload or else it'll automatically upload the picture to the public gallery on Imgur.
Once you have changed that it'll allow you to upload without a title, just click the 'upload' button to finish it.

To get the link of the photo immediately after uploading it, close what pops up first, then just tap on the little button under the image so this menu comes up again, then select 'copy link' to get the direct link to the image.

To share it you have to use the image button above the text field
(looks like this: View attachment 728875 )
so it can add the BBCode around the link for you, as on mobile you don't get the option to copy the a BBCode-friendly link.
