How to remove small scratches on the polished finishing blade?

I decided to send the knife to the maker and ask him to refinish/repolish the blade.

I don’t follow the logic of keeping it a secret. It’s not like you were bashing the maker, but it’s your knife and you can choose to do with the information about it what you want.
