How to sharpen recurves?

I sharpen my Khukuri on diamond and ceramic rods. I touch it up often so it works quite well.

What do you guys thing about paper wheels when it comes to recurves?

Razor Sharp supplies wheels of various diameters and thicknesses that can be shaped to sharpen various arcs. I believe they are used primarily to sharpen gouges. I have a friend who sharpens (professionally) scalloped edges with paper wheels he shaped for the task.
