How to.. Shiny as a mirror?

I built a shroud around my buffer. It is like a box beaneath the buffer with a top over it. Hopefully when it does sling a blade it will get caught down in the area beneath the buffer. It really make a huge difference in all the dust the buffer makes. It contains most of it and I have a dust collector hooked to it. I vacuum it out once a week or so. Maybe I'll post some pics tomorrow.

The thing with my buffer is that while Im not snagging blades anymore because I have learned the hard way what not to do.....

YET all it takes is a moment...All you need to do is "think" of something else just for a second, and you can snag the knife and send it across the floor.

When I pay close attention I never have a problem.
But my mind is always wanting to think of something else, something about the next step with this blade, or what I should have said to a 6th grade teacher 40 years ago....and snag!
