How to use an Axe (video laden)

What a great thread..I have not even viewed all the video yet and have learned so much...thanks
 
This guy makes a massive amount of kindling. Personally, I would not chop near my fingers as he does in some places, but he does use the axe in ways I have not seen before (like using the poll to smash the wood apart after making cuts at the tip). Kindling making goes up to 8:53 (this is the good part). Then he hews and chops a log till around 10:16, after that he just pans around his wood pile.
