How tough is the Junglas?

I really don't Understand all these people looking for crazy machete retention. It's almost two foot long.... It's not falling out. Search for condor el Salvador sheaths. Knifecenter and machete specialists should both carry them.

i really understand it when i lost one at the bottom of a river while swiming. It was my only wilderness tool.. now i carry a second knife cose of it.. and its a real pain to make a shelter with a small knife.. machete is important
 
We advise all of our jungle students to lanyard their machete around water and carry it in their hand when hiking.

May I ask you what is it or where did you get it ? I trying to find a replacment for the now completely destroyed original lite machete sheath I received and some member where talking about a condor one that i just can't find anywhere easily.. I need one that will snap around the handle like a molle back to keep it from moving... and that its available at some trusted store.. of course :)

that's the stock sheath with the esee-5/6 molle back attached. i didn't want to permanently attach it so i just used paracord on the belt loop and wrapped the whole thing in rubber inner-tube.
 
I'm in Canada.I bought it from a Canadian retailer.Their stock is just very limited.70% are sold before they even land in country.He says they may be in on the 21st.(fingers crossed)

I know the place and man of which and whom you speak. While he's been good to me so far with some personal attention on some orders, I'm not at all pleased that the Junglas is STILL listed as "NOW IN STOCK" on the website. I placed my order and paid for a Lite Machete and Junglas a couple weeks ago, only for him to contact me with the news that the Junglas is backordered and asking me if I want the Lite Machete shipped in the meantime:rolleyes:. What a question. Yes, of course send me the knife I already paid for and ship the other that you misrepresented the day it arrives... paying for shipping twice. I don't mean to be prick about it, but had the website been updated I would have waited to order till they were both in stock to be shipped together, saving him the extra postage.

And I'm guessing that mystery shipment didn't work out for us on the 21st as I haven't recieved any shipping notices. How about you?
 
Mine is on it's way or so he claims.I'll know today or tomorrow.
want to know the worst part?He told me he had one set aside for me until payday.Payday comes around and guess what?They're all sold out.I wasn't impressed.A few weeks later and here we are.Time will tell.
