• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

How tough is the Strider AR, really.

Has anyone managed to damage a Strider AR yet? Is it really as tough as everyone makes it out to be?

The reason I ask is that when the talk turns to really tough folders, the AR always comes up, but nobody talks about having actually used/abuse one.

Yes it is. It is probably the toughest folder out there, and better than many fixed blades. I have done some abuse testing with mine. It has gone through a Cadillac roof, UH-1 helicopter plexiglas and fuselage, and it prys well, too. I carry one daily as my primary extraction tool from the aircraft I fly in (although I use the Tanto version).

Like the man was told when he asked how much horsepower was under the hood in his Rolls.......more than enough!! :)
