How well do you know Benchmade?

6/10
I answered a couple too quickly at the end. Like what city BM is located. I visited the factory, so I knew what city they are in, however I saw Portland and clicked too soon.

I missed the 87 for the Ti billet question, and the total number of models produced.

Made in the USA sounds really nice and all, but the reality is the Red class had some outstanding knives to offer, and at a great price. Made it easy to spend my money on them, and be unafraid to toss them in my toolbox. Names like the Ambush and Vex, and the Pika all were competition for Kershaw and other similar makers. More than a few models got reinvented with the HK and Lone Wolf labels. I still own a couple of original Lone Wolf knives and they were MUCH better then the rebranded Benchmade versions. ...and so yes, it may have been a PR ploy, and maybe well placed at the time. I'll bet a few of us have some of the older models in their collections, Red class boxes and all.
