How wide is the Basic #9?

The title says it all guys. How wide are your #9's can't find that spec anywhere. Let me know as it is important for me in picking a knife here very soon.

if you mean how thick, it's .25. Wide... i'm not sure, sorry. you could estimate though...

The #9 is 1/4" thick and 1.5" wide. I wish it was wider and longer but thats just me. works great for shelters and I cleaned a squirrel with it.

James, width is important as it strongly influences performance. A broader blade will have a thinner profile so it will in general cut much better it will also have more mass so it will chop much better.
