How Will The BOSS Jacks Be Ground?. . . And Other Cool Info!!!!!

do you think those le's will baton okay or too thin?

They will baton just fine. There is a maker here on the forums, koyote, and most of his knives are well under 3/16". He and his customers have no trouble using them in the real world.

Wait, I thought there was only going to be one of each number for the LE's regardless of handle options...but there are three #13's?!

The Limited Edition models will be one number..

You can choose your handle ..We still go in order of who comes first:)

I will never... understand you..What does that mean Guy???

Will there be different handle materials or just G10?

If you look at Jerry's post we are doing something very different... the LE will be available the handle options that you you want:thumbup:

I guess you will have to wait until it is launched to see what we are offering:) in the handle options:)

Ah, got it. Thank you very much!

I might be the minority but I really like the combat grade!

is that first picture doublecut?

that is the sweetest looking black/ blue handle...maybe better than the purple giraffe bone.

Can I get Mags on my skinny LE? And Choilless?

Is it just me or does the choil look just a bit bigger on the LE? If so, that is just one more plus!

Is there a choiless LE option??

The handles look like they are fully rope cut instead of just partially too like on the protos.

Yup, a Mag option or just a standard thicker than proto handle (as in HG55 overall thickness) would be highly desired.

Maybe one of the CG blade finishes will be Competition Finish and that would be sweet too.

joshuabl was posting a concern that the LE version might be too thin, at 3/16", to safely be used for batoning. I offered my opinion that it should be no problem, and used, by way of example, the demonstrated success of knives that are even thinner in that very application.

Price? Who knows, but times are pretty tight for most people these days.

The protos weigh about 3/4 of what a SAR 6 does, so an LE over $450 is kinda high, even if it is skinny. Personally, I'm hoping for no more than $427 for a fully loaded G10 LE and maybe $267 for an entry level CG. The handle type, thickness and blade finish will add to that though of course.

Wow-love the pics. THANKS JERRY! Looks awesome. Black+tan, Pumpkin with black or satin bade, bama clay with black and red... the choices, the choices... What to do? What you guys getting? Lets hear it...
