If you haven't noticed, Spark changed the announcements thread. Spark just got back from a vaction himself and apparently he so enjoyed a bit of rest that he's scheduled some downtime for bf.c's overworked server.
Yes, the forum will be down tomorrow.
Trained councilors will be on hand for those overwhelmed by separation grief.
And VG will be standing by to sedate anyone who simply can't bear to be concious without bf.c. He's a trained EMT, you know, so he's aware of details like spit-shining the needle between customers, that sort of thing. And if we run out of morphine, the sudden appearance of his face has been known to cause fainting. And if that fails, he's got quite a right hook.
My crew will be doing our best to get you through this. The BF.C Marching Marimba Band under the direction of Musical Director Gollnick himself will be performing the complete organ works of Bach transcribed for marching Marimbas.
But, I suggest you make preparations for this difficult time that now face. You may want to visit the liquor on the way home from the polls this evening. Heck, you may want to visit the liquor store on your way to the polls this evening. You know what they say about how the attractivness of a woman depends on how many beers you've had?... well with politicians I find that the same thing is true, but it takes shots of straight vodka to achieve the same affect. So, don't forget to pick up a few extra bottles for tomorrow's outage.
The more apocalyptic among you may wish to stock up on guns and ammo. A bf.c outage may portend the beginning of the end. Of is it the end of the beginning? I can never get those straight. Of couse, that could be related to all the vodka... nah.
The more educated of you may wish to pick something up at the library today, maybe The Collected Works of Shakespeare... or Levine's Guide to Knives and Their Values. You've been meaning to get around to memorizing that book, I know. This is your chance.
Any other good suggestions about how to get through this upcoming crisis?
