How would you design a new Becker?

Does anyone have features that they like on one Becker that they would like to combine with another. Has anyone thought of a new design for a Becker knife or tool that isn't already available?

Not sure if they have ever been out there, but I think Becker mini pry bars would be sweet. I have one from County Comm, which is great. A multifunction one, similar to the Gerber Shard, would also be cool.
 
Yeah... I would buy at least a handful of those designs in The Warrior's thread...

The extended BK2 w/ choil... the 1/4" BK9... muk... wharncliffe... etc.
 
A Becker folder would be nice. Have to be in 1095cv, one hand opening, non-flipper, and pocket clip.
 
I actually have 2 designs, one a small hatchet/knife type, and a sort of bearded type axe I designed, but I never posted them, because I thought about having them made one of these days.
 
Extra "features" I don't usually care for. The BK11 is about the most feature-full knife I'd go for without stepping into the realm of gimmicky.

New designs, I love. A Becker Wharncliff necker or tweener would be sweet. Material changes are even cook. Any Becker in S30V would be most excellent...although much more expensive.

If you do get it/them made, I'd love to see the final result (not like you wouldn't have some bragging photos).
 
Oh man, Dubz, I hadn't seen all of those in one place before. I LOVE the smaller tweeners, Ulu, Kleaver, and some other big gazonkin' thing.

Would probably cost a metric shit ton to have custom made, but, I'm still hopeful.
 
I will toss in my .02.. ........................Hybrid a Bk-11 and a 2. Bk-2's size, with the Bk11's rear. One big honkin' Grapple!! (Apple-grabber..not grapple hook lol...works with other fruits too.) It'd be the Uber-Grapple. :-)

Grapple..when you want an apple but aren't quite tall enough to reach..Grapple..it grabs apples and much much more..

ethan has consider MANY designs, and some are on reserve, and many have been offered to KaBar, but for various reasons, they won't be made

for example: small or large prybars - too many other models out there and hard to do better - wouldn't sell well.

yeah, WE all say we want it, but WE amount to at best a couple thousand sold. maybe. probably a lot less. not profitable. that's what it comes down to :>
