How would you design a new Becker?

I like the tweener designs. I would like a Becker that had a blade under 4 inches (so I could carry it:D) and a tweener handle.

How about a BK2 lite? A thinner BK2, maybe even thinner than the old Camillus version.

This is something I've been hoping for! Love my BK2, but a thinner version would be a welcome addition to the family.

The saber ground BK-16s are the closest thing you could probably find...I heard somewhere that Ethan did make some 1/8th inch and 3/16th BK-2 protos at some point.

I would love to see the scandi Bushcraft tweener!

That knife at the Becker price points would be a steal in my opinion. Other blade companys would have to change their prices to adapt.

I would go for something small like a 1095 Remora tweaked in size and shape (bigger blade, better handle?) w/zytel grips to compete with the Candiru.

Something like this?

I always thought Kabar should release a stacked leather handle (similar to MK2) with a 1095 blade and a blade with a "mora type" shape/size. Even a cheap lightweight kraton handle bushcraft knife in 1095 would be interesting.

Hmmm... That's not a bad idea.

Ive thought about sending my bk2 to a machine shop with a surface grinder to thin her down to 1/8". It would only be 1/16" off each side and shouldn't affect the temper or edge at all if they keep her cool while grinding. So a thinner 2 gets my vote :D
