A BK-5 with a sharpened swedge and in 5160 would be delicious.
I remember Jerry Fisk saying that not alot of good can come out of sharpening the 5's swedge...

I was going to go the other direction, fatten the swedge to the full thickness, beef it up a little.I remember Jerry Fisk saying that not alot of good can come out of sharpening the 5's swedge...
How about a BK2 lite? A thinner BK2, maybe even thinner than the old Camillus version.

This is something I've been hoping for! Love my BK2, but a thinner version would be a welcome addition to the family.
Something like this?I would love to see the scandi Bushcraft tweener!
That knife at the Becker price points would be a steal in my opinion. Other blade companys would have to change their prices to adapt.

I just noticed how much this looks like a Esee LaserStrike...
I always thought Kabar should release a stacked leather handle (similar to MK2) with a 1095 blade and a blade with a "mora type" shape/size. Even a cheap lightweight kraton handle bushcraft knife in 1095 would be interesting.
I don't think I realized the Laser Strike had that much of a drop...You think?
