How would you fix this crack in the handle?

I sold this knife maybe 25 years ago. The customer said he kept it in his safe and when he recently took it out it had this crack in the handle. I refunded the customer his money and now have the knife.
I am not sure what the handle is made of. The customer thought it was mastodon ivory, but I don't remember ever using mastodon this way. It could be ivory, but I don't remember using ivory this way. I think it is stag with all the bark ground off.
Anyway, any suggestions as to fix the crack in the handle.

I would use the white CA from Starbond. It is excellent for patching cracks. They make their CA in several colors. Black, white, and brown are very useful for knifemakers.

Or, use thin epoxy with white powder dye, not sanding/grinding dust. White (ivory, stag, etc,) sanding/grinding dust often looks dark when mixed as filler.

I would also say CA from starboard to fix that. They make dyes that would match that well.
As said, Nice of you to take back a 25 year old knife!

Weep white toned super glue in there and sand it out. It'll be hard to see after that and as stable as you can make it.
