Two very fine bladesmiths will be demonstrating at this annual blacksmithing conference in mid September and I'm trying to spread the word out a little further.

Mick Maxen is from the UK. Mick has done reproduction work for the British Museum system and his ultra clean pattern welding is representative of the old world styles updated with modern materials. He's one of those hidden jewels.

If anyone doesn't know the work of Howard Clark, I don't know how to tell them, but he hasn't given a demo in a long long while. He knows a little bit about heat treatment and smithing Japanese style swords.
