Howdy and thank you

Jeff,

Welcome! I, too, lurked for a long time and only rarely posted. But since becoming more active, I have gained many friends and 731 new knives.

Just thought we should warn the new Jeff properly.

;)

Welcome, Jeff!

Welcome Jeff! I lurked on here awhile myself before posting. Since then, I've joined with Blaine and nearly emptied my bank account on traditional knives :D

I've had the opportunity to be on a few forums and even moderate another (non-knife) forum, and these are the nicest folks I've ever met. And the porch is a terrific place to be after a long day

Welcome Jeff. Since you have been into traditionals for 33 years, I know you have a lot of knowledge you can share. Stories, reviews, impressions of new knives, all the regular stuff we talk about and we value your input, so don't be shy about posting here. I haven't ever run across a better, friendlier forum, and I have been part of a few good ones. This has become my favorite place on the internet; it might become yours as well.

And, yes, we want to see pictures of your knives in our various threads.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. My collection is small compared to a lot you guys due to money being tight (raising kids is expensive lol). I sure wish I still had some that I have sold or traded but it was what needed to be done at the time. I am still trying to figure out the picture thing ( my wife, son and daughter will get me educated on that before too long). Gary that porch was a nice touch, can you imagine all of us on that porch whitlin sticks.........the stories that could be told!! Thanks again for the welcome, made my day.

Have a great day,
Jeff

How d' y' do

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Of course on the other hand, as much fun as it is to talk about high end knives, we also talk about affordable ones. Bucks and Case knives are well regarded. And those don't have to be pricey. But you know that, you been looking over our shoulders.

Welcome.
