Hello, I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I am not new to having a knife, but I am new to having a good knife. I am sure that this board will feed this new addiction I feel I am succumbing too. I am currently waiting on a BK2 to arrive later this week. My first REAL knife. Thanks in advance for all the advice I am sure to ask for.

Welcome, this is great place to hang out. Congrats on getting a 2. The campanion was my first Becker as well. Like Warrior said its a hell of a knife. Be sure to post pictures when you get it. We love pictures!

We love pictures of Beckers, pictures of women holding Beckers, pictures of Beckers working, mods to Beckers, and in general, being snarky. Check out the 11, 16, 9, and 4. Also the 10, 77, and RBK. Yeah... you might be in trouble. Although this forum isn't nearly as bad for my wallet as the DDR/HTM forum. Here, the knives are mostly all under 100. There, they're more like 3500. The custom knife subforum is pretty bad for my wallet too. Beckers are probably the best way to feed the addiction, because the quality you get for the cost is second to none.
 
Welcome ! The BK2 is a beast of a knife. It was my first one as well. Be prepared---it will NOT be your last.

Got my first Becker around Feb 2011. I now own: BK2-BK4-BK5-BK7-BK9-BK10-BK11x3-BK13x2-BK14-BK15FPR-BK16FPR-BK17FPR. :D
 
Welcome, Catmouth. You'll love that BK-2 when you get it. A solid, heavy chunk of destruction. For their size, they are hard to beat.
 
Welcome, stick around and just give Ka-Bar your bank account number to make regular withdraws from, I know I should have. And your gonna love your 2, especially after you name it and start modding it!

Welcome.These are great people with a wealth of knowledge and a no BS attitude. I love my 2 but wouldn't want to live without my 9.Just got the limited edition Machax bk4 and havn't had a chance to use it yet. I may find a new can't live without..Have fun!!

You've made a very wise decision Catmouth. The 2 will serve you as well as any knife money can buy. Glad to have you with us and welcome aboard. Now, which one is next? I know you've been eyeing the 9.

Welcome! Prepare your wallet for a BK14 next!

Then a 16, because everyone needs a tweener.

Then you'll probably need a good chopper, maybe a BK4 or BK9.

You might want a BK5 too, to save yourself some grief from Clich.

Oh!! And a new credit card...
 
Welcome and enjoy that Bk2 you have coming your way! She is a beast and is quite the outdoorsman tool. Let us know if you plan on doing any mods.
 
BK2 is one of the best knives you will ever own. Good choice, and welcome to the club. Stick around and post up some pics!
