Now that there are (apparently) more out there, I have a question for the Howling Rat experts...
How many logo'd 1st Gen HRs are out there???

Maybe someone will chime in and shead some light here... I would like to know for sure myself. I'm just now starting to really focus on Rats and there is a BUNCH I need to learn....... :foot:

I've never seen a 1st gen Howler with a logo. The only 1st gen Rats I've seen with a logo were proto's and those initial Military donation numbered models. You've got a special Rat there Bad Bobby. ;)


btw, that isnt a MtMike sheath, whodunnit? :confused: Looks nice though. :)

and it is a MtMike sheath! Good eyes...;)
It is currently being worn by the HRLM, and this baby is in its very own nylon (came with it) sheath... maybe it needs a new home.

I've never seen a logo'd HR1 either. And I believe that Progunner was referring to the logo being on the right side of the blade, instead of the left. That is very unusual.

That is definitely a rare Rat. Shore makes a feller drool, too!

Hmmm... so this wasn't available through a 'Ganza then, and there aren't a lot around...??? Maybe I should withdraw the post... if it's that secret... :D

My HR 1st gen is my favorite EDC. It rode in a Buy Brown kydex for years (superb quality) and it recently got some new pants - a IWB from Leatherman.

Great knife and yours is especially memorable.
 
That is one very nice HR...the Gen 1 is my favorite and the is one slick looking logo. Now go use it!

I figured out what you meant... after I was told...:o

It's definitely different, so maybe I'll get Dwayne to make up a proper pair of pants for it. The MtMike sheath is being worn by the LM.
