I am very happy with the howling fat.

swamp rat could have done a better job sharpening this knife. First thing I did was check the to see if it was razor sharp, and it was not.

I figured I would do a little bonding with my new friend. I broke out my lansky sharpening system 45 min later ,and a couple of passes on the flatbed strop my new friend is razor sharp.

now I can't wait to go out, and beat the crap out of my new friend.

Seet knife! I don't have any experience with swamprat knives, but if they are anything like what I've heard, I forsee one in the near future.
