How's the collection looking after about one good year of buying? Please look and com

Sooo, just one year, eh? Thanks, I'm no longer feeling so crazy about what I did last year.

...well, maybe at least not alone and crazy.

Agree with others, some really great knives there and some really interesting choices too. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work! I think you have worked your way up to taking a shot at a custom. Beware, there may be no going back! Lol. Seriously great job. Nice choice of makers.

Damn I love that Wu Tang knife!! Inspecta Deck is the most underrated member of WuTang. That wutang knife is worthy of a ghostfaces killa you feel me god?

Finding one will prove nearly impossible, but you should get a Spyderench. They've been discontinued for close to 15 years but it would fit in with your collection quite well!!!

Nice collection! You've been busy over the past year!

I think it's time for you to venture out from Spyderco, Benchmade and ZT. Your collection is very centric on those three brands, and you're missing a lot of excellent, different knives.

Check out Southern Grind, Custom Knife Factory, Chris Reeve Knives, Kizer, Reate, WE, Stedemon, Olamic Cutlery, Viper, DPX, Fantoni, LionSteel, Freeman, Hogue, RealSteel just to name a few. You might consider adding a few traditional slipjoints from Northwoods or Great Eastern Cutlery. Grab a Svord, Opinel and a Mora. Once you've filled out your collection of production knives, you can move on to mid-techs and customs!

Looks like you're off to a good start. Remember, if there's still a knife you don't own, you're not done collecting ;)!

Very nice collection!

Two suggestions that won't break the bank yet are still great quality knives...
1. Get a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife (SAK). Check out the Ranger or Hunstman. I find the saw and scissors are must haves for me on a SAK.
2. Ontario Rat 1 in D2 steel.

I have always been in to knives and anything dangerous, but this past year I have really been researching and trying to purchase some good quality and affordable knives and multi tools.

Please let me know what you think of it so far, and please let me know what else u think I should focus or on getting next.

Thanks Brad.

Nice collection. Thanks for sharing the pix.

First....knives aren't dangerous. People who use knives dangerously are. Knives aren't.

What does your collection need?

More knives you like. If you want more.

I like ZT 450 and that 's about it. I am sure you will be getting rid of most of these as your knife addiction progresses and your taste get more refined.

Refined?
Pffffft, sounds boring.

I'm "refined" enough to appreciate the build quality of my Umnumzaan, ZT 0392PURBLKWC, customs and other knives approved by knife snobs, but I wouldn't be getting rid of most of the knives the OP accumulated in a year.

Hey, OP, if you suddenly become too "refined" for those knives, send to a true knife caveman...me!!!

Just saying.
I mean the OP has some damn ugly knives in there. Like in knives that should never be made they are so ugly.
I started out in a similar fashion I still keep and appreciate a few skylines and I still have PM2 sprint in M390, Delica and Endura in zdp189 but that is where it ends. I sold all BMs the rest of Spydis etc, etc mainly to generate funds for other knifes I wanted. BTW sold my Umnam as well :)

BTW sold my Umnam as well :)

Heretic!!! :D

I got rid of many knives that were insanely cheap, like the ones that aren't even an actual brand, but you know what? There are at least 3 of them that I want back from time to time. Can't ever find them again, because they were so obscure and cheap. :(

Now if he had a Gerber Paraframe, that'd be different.
That's one of the few knives I got for free that I felt ripped off by.;)
God, how I hated that piece of crap.
Had the large and the small version, both given to me for free. Both were horrible, horrible knives.

For most, collecting is a slippery slope, for you it looks more like a slippery cliff ;) For your next acquisition, I would suggest a Chris Reeve, like a sebenza or Inkosi or maybe an emerson.

thats a lot for one year in my opinion, i would say take your time or you will end up with way too many sitting around and not being used. good thing is that decent knives will hold their value well and can be sold off if needed. i just sold off a ton of knives i dont use on ebay and have extra cash in my bank account now.
