hows the striped bass fishing in acadia national park

Im going ther next month the 11th to be exact. And i dont know how the fishing will be there so can you tell if it will be worth the efort and time to try to catch some stripers in acadia? and for tackle i will be using a 9 or 10 foot tsunami rod a a huge pen and for bait ruber eels and live eels and ruber shads and poppers.

Timing should be pretty good as the mackrel will be running then. Try your luck in Somes sound for mid-August.
