How's The Weather?

Lots of snow here but it's still not too cold, right around freezing. Took some pictures while I was out for a walk. How's your area?

We dodged the ice storm that was predicted for us yesterday . Today it was 60F @ 6AM here when I woke up. It's now 30F and I will be driving home in the snow tonight (hopefully by 8PM):grumpy:.
Give me snow instead of ice anyday, eh?

I saw a break in the storm, pulled the Tractor out of the Barn to warm up and it started to Rain, which turned to Freezing Rain then to a Heavy Snow. I looked like a Powdered Donut before I was done. The Temp is dropping fast with winds over 27MPH at 27F.

We had a few inches of snow this morning then freezing rain, than some rain. Now its cooling off so may be Icy in the morning. Looks pretty though.

We have about 12" snow with 1" ice in the middle. Supposed to get aonther 3-4 inches of snow tonight. Don't mind the snow, except when it comes all at once... It is harder to get dug out!

Kev, our worst snows have historically come in March. I've seen 4 foot in March....but....we have always opened, so we'll be here.

-25 this morning, milder than most nights that have been -30 or better. This winter has been steady, with regular snowfalls and normal temperatures for a change. We didn't get any thaws, and winter started on time for a change. Ice conditions on the lakes have been good aswell. We havn't had a winter like this since 95-96.

No complaints about the weather at all.

Hahah, I bet.

The dangerous thing about yesterday is the first inch was ice, then snow. Very bad driving conditions. I drove to the Post Office to mail out some trades and almost got stuck twice. After that I decided I'd just walk everywhere else I had to go.

-30...hmm, I typically don't mind the cold, but I think I'll stick with our 20's and 30's we're getting today.
