Hows this for pain!!!

Today was my two daughters birthday party for two weeks they have been asking me if I were coming (they are 9 and11) Having asked me repeatadly I sort to reassure them I wouldnt miss it for the world! ) Anyway 5 mins before Its due to start I am running late call their mum and tell her I will be 5mins late, (we are separated) at which time she announces to me that surprize surprize her borfriend as turned up. So not being able to think quick enough I say well thats your issue to deal with I have promised my kids and I am coming.
Well by the time I get their I have lost the plot, MY HOUSE, MYkids BIRTHDAY PARTY, and she has her F... buiddy there!!!! Well after I suppressed my desire to deck the prick I delevered the stuff I had and left (in tears) what a "bitch" she could not even say come back in two hours their Dad has promised his kids he will be their!! I have for the first time lost my cool with her over the phone I cannoit believe she was so thoughtless and cruel! well F... her! tomorrow its LAWERS! Sorry abot this but with out going into the details, trust me I have been the good guy in all this, And she does this to me!!! Life is a big time bitch!!!!
 
Welcome to the club. One of the toughest situations in the world and about all you can get done successfully (without spending $100,000 in lawyer fees) is grit your teeth and bear it the best you can, knowing that all things pass.
 
UB, you dont know the half of it I new about this dude and she new I new thats life , one has to be adult, but she new how important it was to me, she knows its my bloody house, their my bloody kids, and she couldnt have the decency to tell him to come back in twoi hours time!!! Jesus! I doint believe another human being could be that cruel!!! ( by the way I have been paying for every F...ing thing) and her bloody F... buddy is their in my house at my kids birthdat party!!
 
I know many will think this bad advice (and you didn't ask for any) but.... why not just stomp the arsehole's guts out? I guarantee his respect for you will go WAY up and he won't want to be around if he knows you are coming.

I know you're hurting. Hang in. I think it could well be a matter of not thinking and not caring a whole hell of a lot rather than being cruel. There's a big difference.
 
Semper,Dont think I wasnt thinking of it, I have (unfortunatley, Vietnam ) squared away guys a hole lot better than him! but who was going to suffer, My kids at THEIR birthday paty, Its not his fault he is minus any brains anyway! ITS hers and by Christ after4 years of doinfg every thing right, Shes goiung to F.....g pay!

Its no comfort now, but time will heal in the end.

Its not his fault he is minus any brains anyway!

That guy may yet turn out to be the best friend you never knew you had. He may inadvertently help you to get a much better divorce settlement, then you otherwise may have gotten. Good luck to you; and sorry to hear about the breakup.

No Rod--and excuse my butting in--- but --YOU'RE GONNA PAY!!!!

Trust me--- been there and done that and you haven't begun to see or experience the abuse that's coming your way.

She's got advisors in every nook and cranny not to mention the vilest of creatures that were ever put on this earth(divorce lawyers).

Trust me --her buddies are having a 'feel' day full of glee listening to her tales of how terrible she's been treated and her "Oh poor me what can I do?" pleas.

And friend you are the Ogre, the Goblin --and your testicles and your wallet are the target; and the system is built so tight against you that you are up the creek without a paddle--hell! you don't even have a canoe and the white water is around the next bend.

Free advice....Don't touch anyone or talk over the phone to her.Get a lawyer-DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING you don't have to--Nothing ----because everything you agree to in the "divorce agreement" will come back to haunt to a 1000 fold and "being a good guy" means nothing to a general master. So--- kiss your babies goodbye and move to the other end of the country or better yet-- move out of the country.

The knife is in and now the twisting starts. The forecast is bad and worse--I wish you well.

Oh yes-- you do have one glimmer of hope---Pray that buddy of hers falls into the trap and marries her. Treat him nice- he's your ace in the hole.
 
Clear Blue, I know your right, But mate I have been successful in business (47 retail shops in 4 states, 3 Fishing Trawlers, and A heap of electronic business's) and you don't get that at leaving school at 14 without some savvy, trust me the Bitch is going to pay!!! With your confidence and attitude I believe you just might--Hang onto that-- it will serve you well. However, gird your loins for a long and arduous battle, rough times are ahead. Good luck and best of attorneys.

Rod, keep cool and collected, and cover your ASSets well. Your lawyer will show you how to be very creative... Don't attack until the timing is absolutely in your favor. Do all you can to maintain quality contact with your kids, and try to be non emotional when with them; i.e., don't dwell on the relationship with your wife while in their company.

Um good time to think of ways to twist online words to many meanings guy, been there myself just don't let "bladeforums" be your master plans downfall.

I sincerly hope your plans of retribution are large , quick, and successful.
