I haven't found that my arms rub at all on the cocoons. It's a little deceiving in the pic I posted above, but they actually sit a more little behind me than what it looks like. However, I think it's the kind of thing that you'll have try out and see if it works for you - I could see how they might rub/interfere for some folks.
 
So did I, the pods have been in place and in use all week, great great idea, does not interfer with anything I forget they are there.:thumbup:
 
So I stole the ideas from about and added a belt made from hardware and webbing at the REI by work.

I still have a goal of trying to pull off a 2-3 day trip with just the Tara and a Kit Bag. Hopefully I'll find this time this spring/summer.
