HRLM with Black G-10 scales?

Have any of you more experienced Rats ever seen
A HRLM with Black G-10 scales?

I have a RMD Black G-10/Black that I got from Blade,
and he needs a little brother....

Maybe I need to find another G-10 RMD and switch out the
handles with a black HRLM?
If so,how hard is that ta do?

Black G10? Hmmmm. HMMMMM. I can't remember. I'd like to say they were at some shows for sure, but we saw so little of the HRLM last time and so much of the RMD.

You like G10 over black paper micarta? I've found g10 looks and feels plasticy to me. Interested in your thoughts on that.

Well.... I don't have anything in Black Paper,so I can't comment
on my preference between the two. But I do like the heavier weight of
the G-10 VS. the standard micarta.... Also the G-10 feels more solid to me
(maybe because of the weight). As far as grip goes,normally I prefer micarta.
Depending on the style and cut of the G-10;sometimes I prefer the G-10...


Honestly,the biggest reason I want a HRLM with G-10, is because I have
the G-10 RMD and I really want a HRLM like it;for a combo...

Also,I want one because I haven't seen one..lol.. If there are a few floating
around out there,then the owners don't want to let go of them...
That reason alone makes me want one....

I think I'll put up a wanted post for one and see what happens...
I'm supposed to be goin ta Knob Creek so maybe I could score one
(amongst many other things) there.... If not, I'm going to see about
finding another G-10 RMD and switching the G-10 out with some
standard micarta from a HRLM.....

I am determined on this one,for some reason...lol...

If something happens and I can't go to Knob,then I'm gunna have to
find myself a ruthless proxy..... But I should be going...:thumbup:
