do not look at this knife and say it looks badand i'm getting worse then better, i just threw it together to test. did this little one,not a good one.
it's 1095
do i do it right or wrong?
This is only a test, so don't grade me on this type , for finished work.

wanted to see if it would break,hit it 4 times with a 2# hammer and decided to stop.

I'd also like to know how you're heat treating. Generally, the steel shouldn't take a set like that if it's through hardened. Did you edge quench it?

I personally would say that you need to adjust your heat treatment- that blade is bent
