OK, I started building the sticky. It will fill up over the next week. If anyone has suggestions for threads they particularly like, pleases post them in this thread and I will link them in the sticky.

Would you folks like me to create a sticky for all the HT discussion threads to be placed in? It would be like the info sticky, with a title and links for each thread. That way the discussions can still be posted on, but will be easy to find. I will try and categorize them into general groups like:

Triple Quench and Triple Normalization
Specific HT on Aldo's steel
General HT info and discussion
Back Yard HT and forge HT
Metallurgical discussions
HT oven related threads
W2/1095
1084
Specialty steels
Miscelaneous HT discussions

For all of the discussion that goes on regarding HT I think this is a great idea. Thanks Stacy.

Definitely yes. I find what I need by searching and bookmarking, but having it all in one place would be an excellent resource.

Yes please! It would be great to be able to easily look up the recommended ways to heat treat some specific steel of interest.

Make it so.

Although... I don't see a group for snowbank quenches or running a hot blade through a dead body. That should be in there.

Rick, you know that running a hot sword through a body only works if it's a LIVE virgin. That's why all the swords made in the Middle Ages were way better than the ones made now. Lack of virgins these days... [emoji12]
