Just got this; USPS really earned their money for this quick delivery. Didn't have time to get the good camera out, but here's a quick cell phone shot:

Initial impressions: great feel, lots of knife in a lightweight, comfortable package. It's a keeper!
I'll try to do some better pics tomorrow.

Thanks for the pic. Those have been sorely lacking in this project to date, and that whets my appetite nicely. The green came out well, looks like. Hopefully I'll get mine this week too. Can't wait to swap out the M390 one and see if the S90V is any better. Stonewash looks great too.
 
The knife is over exposed in the picture. The Green will probably be a touch darker in real life.
 
I love that green, even if it is brighter than most of us expected. It looks really rad!
Has the "toxic" green look of that other forum :D
I'm super stoked to get mine, tracking has it coming Saturday.

I completely agree. It's a bit brighter than I expected but I really like it! It looks.... Fancy.
 
I really don't think it is going to be as bright as it looks in the picture. You can tell the picture is over exposed. The black in the photo shows up perfect and the blade is almost washed out.
 
i feel that the ddr is an extremely under valued knife. it is a nice size, lots of blade for the package. comes in all kinds of blade configurations and maxx glide/assisted. they are flippers, and every ddr i have seen has been very nice. they only thing keeping me from buying one is the handle thickness. a little too thick for me. but i feel these are overlooked as a great knife

Good Eye! as they say in baseball circles. Also, I have never seen CPM S90V referred to as S90. Not trying to split hairs but...

Ha! I didn't even notice that, I'm curious too. Probably just placement of the blade in the engraving jig wasn't 100% correct? Doesn't bother me though, at least its a proper logo and not misshapen even if it is in the wrong position :)
Strange too about the S90 vs S90V. Great knife either way.

We'll have to see if it's like that on the other ones or if I got the only one.
 
the S90V steel is really topnotch. but the handle color is just incredible. Kudos to everyone on the choice of color!

It's below the flat on mine also, and also says S90, instead of S90V :(

I have to say though, the Maxx Glide is great. I've only ever owned assisted Gunnies before, and it's fantastic being able to close it easily. Fit and finish looks fine, detent works nicely, and I haven't had that good of a shave in months.
