Htm knives

I bought a Kirby lambert SNAP from htm, because I really digged the grenade handle design, and they were on sale for what thought was a very affordable price at right around $130.

I wasn't impressed with craftsmanship at all. Blade grind was horrible, like 45 degrees and barely existent. Thing was like a chisel and couldn't cut mustard. I spent a lot of time regrinding the metal to make it useable, and still have it, but for their price tags I would never buy another HTM. There's a reason Darrell Ralph unaffiliated himself from the company, and now I know why.

Dam i order a gum hammer torpedo auto for 170 i hope its nice i should of went with a zero tolerance 0220 thats next time thanks

I tried them out. Got the bullwhip several years ago. Everything was fine except for the TERRIBLE lock rock. I bent the lock bar in and that helped somewhat but it still has lock rock. I heard they upped their QC since I bought it but don't know for sure. I still need to send that sucker in to be fixed.

They have nice ads in magazines. From the threads here over the years and the forum knife debacle, I've figured out to stay away.
