Fantastic work Steve. A real beauty.

And like Dances With Knives, I'm curious about the little holes on the poll. What are they?

The hole's were in the bit when i started forging it,don't know why they were there, but they would'nt clean up so they stayed.Anybody's guess what construction guy's do when their ridin a Jack Hammer.Thank's to all the other Poster's i really like throwing this thing,I don't think the Curly Maple is going to stay in it.

Noooo---a simple, straightforward, and honest answer like that won't do!:D We need to come up with a story about how marks like that signified the bravest warrior in the tribe, with the most victories! Or maybe that a certain tribe added one hole for every enemy taken with the hawk!

Anyway, unlike the beautiful hawk, the explanation needs some work.;)
