Forged from 3/16 inch 52100
Heat treated to Rc 59 with three normalizing cycles and two tempering cycles
Distal tapered tang and blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Stabilized spalted maple handle with black spacers
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Easily one of the most recognizable, classic and USEABLE tools if ever there was one. Great to see a traditional form that still works better than 99% of anything else out there for it's intended purpose.

Curious, moving forward would you ever offer this with G10 scales? I can't see Micarta going well with a skinning blade however that blade with earthy tone Scales (or other generally nonabsorbent material) would be the cat's ass for an everyday user. Deep Green, deep Brown or Mahogany would be a damn cool blade for my shop.

Can you tell I do a fair amount of butchering??? ;)
