You ain't kidding what a forged blade can do. This is my Walter Davis forged HB after taking a couple of palettes worth of abuse. It still made nice curlies.

I've got one coming from Scott Gossman, 8" A2, with desert ironwood scales. Have the Baublitz. Thinking that I have one of the Cold Steels somewhere, might be lost in the book case.
 
OK, I am a big HB knife fan. You guys have some really beautiful examples of them here. Really like Matt's blades also. My examples;

Need a better picture, but the one on the right is my favorite (but a safe queen) since she is wearing Mastadon ivory.

I have always had a sweet spot for that Bark River copy, but haven't caught one for sale yet on the second hand market.
