So i was wondering, witch blade is currently the biggest on the market? Being the biggest blades are in traditional circles(or so i think) i came here. Any tips? Thank you.:)

Moved to more appropriate area for discussion...

Are we talking just knives, or are we going up to machetes and swords and the like?

Now you are just asking for trouble! :) There's huge debates in some quarters about where a "knife" ends and a "sword" begins.

Doesn't the SOG Tomcat weigh like 20 lbs are something? Then of course there's some of those Busse knives that look like they are made to compensate for something ... :p

I kind of assumed, just wanted to know if he was looking for more like an Esee 6 or a broadsword
An ESEE 6, i consider a knife. Even an ESEE Junglas, i concider a knife, because of the relatively thick tang (its a challenge to find a bigger one)
An ESEE Lite or an Broadsword i do not concider a knife though (not that i wouldent want one :))

Thats not really the reason i would buy one, but it would work.
Girls would probately get freaked out though...

Down Under Knives makes one called "The Outback"
I copied this specs off the website:
Overall length: 16”
Blade length 11”
Blade thickness: 6mm
Weight 800 g / 28.2 oz

Then theres the Rodent Waki.. would it be considered a knife? Or any other Swamp Rat/Scrap Yard/Busse offerings

My HI Dui Churra at over 22" is a beast of a knife. Here it is compared to a Busse Fat Fusion Battle Mistress.

Of course the Busse MOAB is a Huge Mofo in its own right. If we are talking about folders, the CS Large Espada is a sight to behold.

CS Espada XL might be your ticket. Maybe the Opinel Giant with its 10" blade.

I'm on a pre-list for the Spyderco 3V Tuff - that is not a small folder. Frame lock too, so far ;)
