O I'm making knives :D. i just could not pass it up for 200 bucks.

well in a few hrs i am picking up the beast and am trying to figure out how to transport it without damaging the top head. I was planing on bolting it to a pallet as it seams kinda top heavy. can i remove the stitcher from the base so it is not so top heavy?

Man just looking at that thing sends a shiver up my back. I have a hard time when my Tippman Boss gets out of adjustment and it doesn't have but about four screws with two of them holding it to the table. You are going to need to post some pictures of that when you get through.

well it is home. i have the base at the shop and the head at home. this way i can work on cleaning it up. man this thing is a beast. I'm going to call her betsy :D.

Looking at your pictures, I noticed something. Take that pulley off of the right side of that shaft and switch it to the left side. That is for the belt off of the motor. I'll get a picture tomorrow for you so you can see how it is set up with the flat belt....

well i did some basic cleaning of the needle and all area and then sprayed everything down with WD-40 and it started to move. after a bit more working i now can cycle it fully by hand. i even put some leather and punched some holes. man its working :D. i then tried to thread it and run it. well i ran it by hand and i got 3 stitches before i broke the thread. man I'm excited. i think i got a real good deal. Now once i get the manual i will compleatley clean everything and oil it.

well Jt Lets see the beast now . knowing you its like pimp my ride all chromed out neon lights race car foot peddle .lol kellyw
